July 28th 2013: Tsim Sha Tsui

Tsim Sha Tsui!

Today spent most of my time wandering around the malls of Tsim Sha Tsui! I haven't been to Tsim Sha Tsui before so thought it was worth a go before I leave to the UK. But as it seems for a Teenager this is not the right place to go to unless you have a high budget ($$$$$). The range of clothing stores are endless with American Eagle, 6ixty8ight, H&M which are the most affordable to Chanel, Fendel, Dolce and Gabbana in the higher price range. Although it was a new experience it isn't one that I would go back, especially on a Sunday.

Tsim Sha Tsui feels different from the usual Hong Kong. It almost seems like you are in New York with  so many plazas and the layout is a little different. Tsim Sha Tsui is good if you are looking to get our of the usual! Its fresh,  modern and international.

If you are looking to buy more affordable clothing you may try Causeway bay and Mongkok who have loads of street shops that offer cheap clothing sometimes from $100 for 3 or you can bargain at the price. But be warned some of these stores do not have airconditioning!! You could also go to Maple which is growing day by day spreading to almost all areas of HK! Very affordable and good quality clothing. They even sell makeup now!
